The dodot or kampuh is a ceremonial cloth for the lower body. In the past it was only worn by the king and by members of the royal family as well as nobility at certain ceremonies.
The dodot usually has certain motifs like the "larangan" and motifs which denote high rank and posperity, is fully decorated throughout its surface and has center bordered by the "cemukiran", "modang" or "tritik" motif. Sometimes the center is lined with silk cloth, and the and of dodot usually have a fringe called "brengi".
